Games

Small games, written by hand in C. No asset packs — every building, tree and pixel of type is drawn in code at startup.

Toaster City — an isometric city with roads, zoned buildings, parks and a river Live build

Toaster City

An isometric city builder. Zone it, power it, and keep the traffic moving — land value, pollution, crime and district ordinances all push back. Friends request features in Discord and they land in the game the same evening.

Toaster City on Toaster Engine — the same isometric city, its buildings, trees, cars and people now derived by an engine from what the game says they are

Toaster City, on Toaster Engine

The same city builder rebuilt on a semantic engine: the game says what a lot is — a two-storey timber house, a factory with two stacks, a park of paths and benches round a bandstand — and the engine works out the structure and paints it. Every rule, every building and the bridges are there; press F1–F4 to see the whole city in four visual styles.

Woodward — a hand-modelled 3D town of timber-framed houses, a clock tower and cobbled streets

Woodward

A 3D city builder. Chop trees and break rocks by hand, build huts along dirt paths, and grow through five eras — Encampment, Village, Town, City, Metropolis — until you are raising glass towers and a stadium where your campfire used to be.

Built with
TypeScript and Three.js; every building and texture is generated in code

Woodward 2 — a zoned village with colour-coded residential and industrial lots growing beside dirt roads

Woodward 2

The city-builder cut of Woodward. Drag roads, paint residential, commercial, industrial and farmland zones, and the lots develop on their own from demand, land value and what is in the stockpile. Place wells, schools and parks to cover neighbourhoods; taxes pay the upkeep. Same five eras, same hand-modelled town.
